Update.

Things are going well, but I'm a little antsy. The semester is over and it's still a few weeks before my busy summer starts--I should be cherishing these moments, right? I have stuff I need to do, such as two book reviews, prepare my presentation for a conference at Harvard next week, clean my library/study, read. But I have no motivation. Maybe's it's the heat--in case you didn't know, Boston is having a heat wave that is supposed to last for another day. I don't like the heat.

In other news, Beth and I have begun exercising again. We're too cheap to pay for a gym membership and Boston College charges quite a bit to use their gym, so we're walking around the lake and running. Feels good to move around after reading/researching all day.

Last week, Beth and I went to visit Sir Christopher Ricks--I had met with him once before, but this time I asked if he could sign a couple of books for me. Beth and I had a great time, laughed a lot, and even got a picture with him (well, not Beth--she took the picture).

Our flowers are growing--and we're pretty sure they're not weeds (but we could be wrong). Beth read the package the other day and noticed that they will grow to about 30 inches. Yikes! I guess we should have read the package before buying them. Oh, and we bought two new bookshelves. I moved one of my other ones into the living room so that Beth can have another one (generous of me, I know).

Hope you're doing well!
