New Beginnings

I cannot believe it is Mid-May already, but that means that Jeff's semester came to an end, and we can relax for a few days before things pick up again! Jeff handed in his final papers and tests and is now looking forward to a summer of conferences,TA'ing, and mentoring incoming freshmen. I am looking for Social Work jobs, looking for new hobbies (any ideas??), preparing for my sisters wedding in July, and assisting Jeff in any way possible!

We have once again taken a few walks, as you can tell, this is a daily occurrence! But we found something new on our walk this time, new goslings! Of course we ran to get our camera and we have been watching them grow for a little while now. Also, on a side note, during one of our walks we tried to beat the rain. That did not happen and we tried to hide under a tree. That did not happen either. So we ran in a down pour/hail storm and came home soaking. Thank-goodness we were laughing the whole way home!






Also, our plants have started to grow! In one day I woke up to 7 shoots and two hours later I had 18, they grew so rapidly. I hope the flowers come soon, but we will keep you updated.



And last, but not least, I baked my mom's recipe of blueberry brunch cake, it came out looking great, so I took a picture to share with you! It didn't just look great, it tasted great too!
