California: Day Two: the Engagement.

Beth and I woke up early this morning and drove to the donut store. From there we drove up to the mountains to visit the Mt. Baldy Zen Center (we even saw a Zen monk!) Then, we drove to a nearby river where I took Beth about three years ago. We sat about twenty feet from eachother, and journaled about our day yesterday. When I finished I sat next to her and asked her to read what I wrote. And then the rest is history.









After that, we visited my grandparents for a few hours. When we got home, we made all the necessary phone calls. And at night, we went to a local high school producation of High School Musical. It was one of the best high school plays we have seen.
