"Time's Winged Chariot."

Sometimes I feel like Alice trying to catch the white rabbit. He's always ahead of me and always in a hurry, and I'm struggling to keep up. It's already April, I only have four more classes left until the end of the term, and I have quite a bit of reading still left to do. Here's an update of what I've been up to.

For Easter, Beth's mom and sisters visited us for a few days. We had Easter dinner at Danny and Domenick's. Domenick cooked us ham, london broil, green beans, rolls,corn, and various other things. Near the end of the meal, Domenick's parents and uncle and aunt came over. We had dessert with them. A good day, but way too much to eat!


Alicia Keys is on campus today and tomorrow filming her new music video. I decided to stop by and try to see her. I arrived during their "lunch" break. So, I waited around. I found a guy that must have been her bodyguard--he was huge! I peaked my head around a corner, and I think I saw her getting her make-up on. No pictures of this, sorry. But I did manage to take a picture of the catering truck!


Work is going well. My boss told me the other day that she would like me to organize the archives. We call it "the morgue," since all the stuff (graduated students' files, meeting records, etc) from past years go there (and all those things that people don't know what to do with, but think they need). I enjoy organizing (and throwing stuff away).

Last night, we had a huge rainstorm that lasted about ten mintues--a complete downpour (and yes, I was in the middle of it) Today I found out that we had a tornado warning a little to the west of us. Crazy!
