Date Day!

Jeff and I have been very busy with work and classes lately, so we decided to have a date day. Jeff's professor had given him a ticket to the International Antiquarian Book Fair at the Hynes Convention Center here in Boston.




We saw very old manuscripts, first edition books, maps, and so much more. There were booths from Holland, England, Germany, Canada, Australia, and of course the U.S. We sat in on a interior design class as well to learn how to decorate with books, yes, you heard me correctly, decorate with books. Needless to say if you ever visit us in the future, you may see some tips we picked up!

Jeff found a book to purchase for $23,000.00.....I took the debit card away!

We rode the "T" in which is always an adventure. However, the Fall has finally come to Boston and the trees are absolutely gorgeous, I will try and take some pictures soon!



At night we drove out into the suburbs to do a little shopping for things around our home and we went out to Olive Garden to have a nice relaxing meal. I had spaghetti, Jeff had Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, and we shared the Black Tie Mousse Cake! Yum!



I love spending fun (Fall) days with Jeff where we can laugh, share a new experience, and reconnect after the business of life settles down.
