Narnia!

Thursday and Friday, I flew to Chicago to visit the Wade Center at Wheaton College. The Wade Center is depository for various materials on The Inklings (C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Williams, etc.). I took a few pictures. The wardrobe is the original wardrobe that was in Lewis' house (and, supposedly, the inspiration for the wardrobe in The Chronicles of Narnia). The desk is Lewis' writing desk. The table is Lewis' dining room table, with various artifacts from the Narnia movies displayed on top. Cold weather, though, in Chicago.

Even though it was a quick trip, I enjoyed spending time in Beth's sister, Ann. She was gracious enough to drive me to and from Wheaton.
