PUMPKINS!

Tonight Jeff and I carved pumpkins while making pumpkin bread with a full moon out! We started out good and Jeff was trying to carve his pumpkin a different way by just scratching the surface(we saw it on the food network channel). He worked hard, but accidentally broke through his pumpkin. By this time about 30-45 minutes had passed and I was carefully working on mine. In a matter of 5 minutes Jeff had turned his pumpkin around and carved the exact same face as me and was done. I sat there looking at it trying to figure out how he just carved the same pumpkin as me in about 5 minutes....I couldn't believe it. Here are a few pictures of our night and of Jeff's walk to class.

On Jeff's way to class, a yellow lab usually lays under this tree everyday.

Our pumpkins!

Our fish even has a pumpkin!

Jeff's attempt to do something cool!

I see that the fish has not carved his pumpkin yet. Perhaps you should drop it into the fish's bowl so he can nibble away at it.

Nice pumpkins! Philip carved one with the youth group a couple of weeks ago. I missed that part of fall this year. Hope you're doing well on the other coast!
