As I am writing this I am sipping coffee and listening to Fernado Ortega's song, Grace and Peace. If you get the chance, listen to it on youtube or something, I have fallen in love with the song.

The Invasion starts now.........
Invasion #1: Jeff Burns his Finger :(
*While tempering our cast iron skillet, Jeff decided to touch it with his thumb. I was in the bedroom and came running to see Jeff running for the faucet. Thankfully we got burn cream and bandages on there fast enough that it has gone down considerably, and he is doing well!
Invasion #2: Jeff starts school in two weeks!
*While actually being able to relax for a good three weeks, Jeff will start his final Semester at Boston College. He will be done in December, however, we have signed a year lease, so we will be here till next August.
Invasion #3: I have passed my licensing exam!!!!!!!!
* I am officially Beth Gutierrez, LCSW (license clinical Social Worker!!)
Invasion #4: I am looking for whatever job I can get with my degree, :( and :)
* Things here are tight in the job market, but I have already had one interview and am hopefully to have atleast two more in the works with many more applications to go out. Please pray!
Invasion #5: Our plants may overtake our home!
*Our seedling plants that we blogged about earlier stopped growing, so we threw them out and bought new plants from Home Depot. They are growing like crazy and we are so excited. I also bought a mum for the upcoming fall that is just starting to open up. It is a deep burgundy! I love them and can not wait to have one in our home and for only $2!
Invasion #6: Our families are all moving and changing!
*This summer has brought many changes to both sides of our family, which are exciting and difficult. You are all constantly in our hearts, minds, and prayers. We are here for you even though many miles separate us. We love you!

Invasion #7: We have officially lived in Boston for 1 year!
*This year is the first year since both moving to college that we have stayed in one place for longer than a year. We are excited and at the same time, kind of feel like we should be moving. But it is nice not to have the commotion and challenges of moving. The Lord has a mighty plan.

As you can see things have been growing and developing over this summer. Jeff and I are learning to depend and trust in the Lord more. We are not quite sure what we are doing here yet or what the Lord has in store and it is large growing and learning time for us. We are searching for the Lord's will in our lives, but also learning to trust in HIM for the little things from day to day. Please keep us in your prayers!
