Jeff has been busy with orientation for his Writing fellow program at Boston College and he has begun teaching a course this summer session. It may be an interesting summer with the lack of preparation this class seems to have, but hopefully it will get pulled together soon.
I, Beth, have been busy working and getting ready to fly to Chicago this weekend. I will celebrate Christmas at my grandparent's cabin in central Iowa and then stay the week with my sister Lisa, as she is getting married July 10. I am so excited to go and help with all the final details and to spend time with my family. Jeff's classes and mentoring will be in full swing, so he will be joining me the next Thursday. I will post some pictures when we get back.
Jeff and I also took a weekend and went back to where we lived in New Jersey. We met up with so friends down there and my cousin Danielle, her husband, and their son Sammy. We however, did not take any pictures. :( While we were there, Drew University, where Jeff went, hosted a large book sale. And if anyone knows Jeff, where there are books, there we are. We bought 6 large paper bags full of books for $20. It was a great deal and so much fun to catch up with our friends and family.
A few weeks ago I worked at our churches yard sale for the mother's group that meets to give them a break from their children and also have fellowship with each other. While working there I found these awesome chairs. They were still there when the day was over and they were going to be thrown out, so I took them, in hopes of refurbishing them! I am excited for one day when Jeff and I possibly have a house that we can have a tea table... I can always dream right!
And, in preperation of leaving Jeff for a little while I am freezing cookies for him, this will be his main supply while I am gone :)
Enjoy this 4th of July weekend! May all your parties and activities be great and go off with out any injury!
