Spring has Sprung and Tim O'Brien

Jeff and I have been enjoying a few wonderful days of spring by studying by our lake, watching our daffodils open up, the crocus's sprung up, and we have been chasing the geese. Jeff has been busy with his classes and writing fellow program. Tomorrow, he has a conference at the University of Connecticut. I have been studying for my Social Work Licensing exam which is on Saturday, please say a few prayers!

Tonight, Jeff and I had the pleasure to hear Tim O'Brien speak at Harvard tonight. He is celebrating the 20th year of his book, The Things They Carried. While walking up to the church where he was speaking, we walked by a side door, where none other than Tim O'Brien was standing. Jeff and I got our tickets at the door and walked back to the side door where we introduced ourselves and took a picture with him. It was a fun night filled with laughs.

Also, Jeff and I have been having a cold/allergy issues since spring has come, so we asked Jeff's dad what we should do. He suggested a Neti pot. So Jeff and I got a neti pot and must be the only two who can not use it...I guess our noses just don't work with it. Jeff is trying to get it to work, but we both failed!
