When we bought our first fish, it didn't move much. We thought it was depressed. So, we bought it a friend and from that day they were inseparable. The more time passes, we realize our fish might not be just "fish." The more we watch them, the more they act like a small dog, or something. When we come home, they greet us at the edge of the bowl. When we leave for a whole day and finally come home at night, they ignore us for a few hours, floating behind the filter or behind the fake tree. But they forgive us. They even watch t.v., just floating there while the show is on.
But something seems odd to us. Sometimes, they'll just float there on the edges of the bowl. What do you think they're doing? It's not their bedtime; maybe a nap?

How cute! I keep trying to get Mauricio to get me a puppy...I think I might have to settle for a fish :)
We had a fish like that when we lived in NJ-his name was Paco. We decided that he was taking a nap because when we would tap on the glass it seemed like he would wake up and start swimming around. Fish do have personalities!
