One Year.

It's been a quick year, but a year full of learning (In so many ways!!!). Jeff and I celebrate our first year anniversary today! It is crazy to me because when all my friends were getting married in college, I wondered how the first year anniversary felt to a newly married couple, with all the tales about how horrible the first year is and how the in-laws are over-bearing or numerous other things...and I guess now I know!

Jeff and I have been truly blessed. If I say everything has been smiles and roses, I would be lying, but I can say everything we have argued about, discussed, laughed, and shared has made us a stronger couple. A couple that has grown in Christ, love, strength, and a new depth. I can also say that I truly love my in-laws(I have from day one!)and cannot imagine our marriage with out your support, and the support from my family and our friends! Thank you all for your prayers, insight, listening, advice, laughs, and visits! We have been BLESSED so much and we are so excited to see where God takes us next!

Jeff and I decided to celebrate last night by going to the Olive Garden! We love this resturaunt and celebrate the big things in our life here: Graduation, acceptance letters, wedding anniversaries, visitors, and maybe the occasional "we made it through the week"! Then we went to get my ring cleaned at the mall and Jeff surprised me with some diamond earrings! I was blown away and love them! Needless to say I was going with the "paper" gift idea like the old idea goes, and made Jeff a paper crane mobile, a humble comparison, but noneless I was proud I could actually make paper cranes!

Then we bought some sparkling cider and orange roses to celebrate!

In Church today we also sang Be Thou My Vision, which was the song we sang at our wedding...what a coincidence!
