On Wednesday, David McCollough, author and historian, was on campus signing books before his lecture to the Drew community. I shook his hand, and he asked me what I was studying. I said I'm working on Thornton Wilder for my thesis. And to my surprise, he said that he knew him. He used to eat lunch with Wilder. Crazy, huh?

The weather is warming, the trees are blossoming. On our walk around campus the other day, we saw the family of deer walking around. I still haven't seen the groundhogs yet.
