It's been crazy around here. After getting home from our trip to California, Beth got sick; and then I caught what she had (but somehow I got it worse--I got some form of pink-eye). Beth's sister, Lisa, visited us for a few days. This past Saturday, we took the train into NYC to have supper with one of Beth's friends. We decided to go a little early and visit the
Museum of Natural History. We thought it was a donation admission, but once we go there, we had to pay the full price. Only having about 2 1/2 hours until it closed, we saw the whole musuem (or just about all of it). Our favorite part was the Butterfly Exhibit! Oh, and we also took a taxi for the first time. So, I stood on the corner and flagged one down--and it was a bumpy ride! But a good experience. While we waiting for Beth's friend, we decided to walk near the theatre district to see if we could find a restaurant. As we were walking, a person caught my eye, and it was Colin Hanks. He was doing some publicity stuff for the play he's in.

After supper, we walked around Times Square and looked around the huge Toys 'R Us. The pictures are of King Kong on the Empire State Building and The Statue of Liberty made out of
Legos.

We went to church on Sunday and took a nap. The rest of the day I worked on my thesis while Beth did the laundry and cleaned.
