Christmas Day.
Beth woke me up this morning with the wonderful smell of baking cinnamon rolls. After our yummy meal, we opened presents. We then took a walk around the nature arboretum. Since I had never walked on a frozen lake before, I ventured out (even though some of the ice was cracking!). For lunch, Beth made a chicken dinner with rolls, stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, and sparkling apple cider. Yum! We relaxed for the rest of night (and ate cookies and Puppy Chow!).

Your post reminds me so much of our first Christmas away from home, which was in NJ too! We went for a late night Christmas walk and happen to find a sled left outside and did some downhill sledding. When we were done we returned it. You are brave on the ice! Beth's meal sounds yummy!
Jeff, you are so graceful on the ice! Did you take figure skating lessons when you were younger?
Looks like a relaxing christmas day...and a cold one!
