Take your husband to school day.

Well, not really; but that's what I called it. I had off from work and it was Beth's last day of summer term, so I decided to follow her to Manhattan.

We caught the train at 6:30, arrived at Penn station (NY) by 7:30, caught the subway and ended at her school by 8. (And yes, I do get up at the crack of dawn to bring Beth to the train station every morning. But I usually go back to bed when I get home).

She showed me around the Social Work building and then she had class at 9. I decided to wander around Columbia Univ. while she had class. The freshman are starting to move in, so the campus was pretty busy.

And I even found my way to the world's biggest cathedral, St. John the Divine. How big is it? Well, supposedly, the Statue of Liberty could fit within in. And they have the biggest Rose window in North America.

I thought I would sit there for a while and contemplate; however, I suppose I complicated too deeply, because I fell asleep in my chair. Oops.

Lunch at a small pizza place across the street from the university and then we caught the subway and train back home.

Also, yesterday, Beth visited the site where they filmed part of Seinfeld. Remember the sign to the restaurant? Yep, its near Columbia.

Brother, it is not good to contemplate so hard that you fall asleep. At least you didn't fall off the chair though.
