Christmas preparations.

Beth worked this morning, and I made my way down to her place around noon. Around 2pm we went to Wal-Mart and bought some Christmas decorations. Wait a minute--let me backtrack to Thursday! On Thursday, I went to Wal-Mart and bought Beth two presents: a small, portable heater (because her apartment's cold), and a small, 3 foot artificial Christmas tree. Okay, back to Saturday. We went to Wal-Mart today and bought some ornaments and lights. We did laundry after that. And in the evening we decorated the tree and ate some cheesecake (and drank some sparkling apple-grape juice)! Beth made a paper-angel to put on top of our tree! Good job, Beth.

The picture of the framed leaves are part of Beth's Christmas present from her parents. She collected the leaves last Christmas in California and her parents framed them for her.
