Vino!

Today started out bright and early for Jeff and me. We met Domenick and Danielle to go to Hoboken, NJ to make wine at Domenick's grandma's house. We ate muffins, fruit, and coffee on the way there. When we arrived in Hoboken, we saw the Statue of Liberty (for the first time!!!) and the New York skyline right across the river. It was an amazing site. We moved all the grapes, put them into a machine, and it removed the stems and pits from the good part of the grapes. It was an interesting experience. After squeezing the grapes we drove down by the Hudson River to look at New York. There is a painted wall that I remembered seeing in the news when the World Trade Centers were hit. It was crazy to see all the sites. We ate at an outside restaurant called Cafe Mercy. By the end of the trip we were very tired and ready for a nap!
