Vacation Bible School.

A few weeks ago, Beth and I were asked to volunteer for VBS at New Life Church. They put us as the "game people", which Beth and I were not very excited for at first. We didn't think we would be able to handle so many children; but after seeing everything come together, we have become quite excited to show the children a new game every night.

This year's theme is "Galilee by the Sea", and each volunteer was given a tunic-like robe to wear. Monday night was a game about fishing (throwing blankets). Tuesday night's game was marbles. Wednesday was bowling (with tennis balls). And last night was Archery. We were a little worried that Archery would be chaotic; but it all turned out well: no injuries and only one arrow on the church's roof.

Tonight is the last night! It has been a busy week, but I think Beth and I will miss going every night.

I went to New Life Church my freshman year at Dordt. VBS sounds like fun! Good job!
